Digital Cluster Coordination & Community Development Division
The Digital Cluster Coordination & Community Development Division within the Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA) is responsible for promoting ICT literacy and community development activities related to ICTs in Rwanda.
The division works closely with various stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector organizations, and academic institutions, to promote the development of digital clusters and communities in Rwanda. This includes providing guidance and support for the formation and growth of digital clusters, as well as fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing between different clusters and communities.
The Digital Cluster Coordination & Community Development Division is also responsible for developing policies and programs that support the growth of digital clusters and communities in Rwanda. This includes developing funding and financing mechanisms for digital startups, as well as providing training and education programs for entrepreneurs and digital professionals.
The division also plays a key role in promoting the use of digital technologies and innovation across different sectors of the economy. This includes developing partnerships and collaborations between digital clusters and traditional industries, as well as supporting the development of digital solutions to address social and economic challenges in Rwanda.
In addition to coordinating digital cluster projects, the division is also responsible for community development activities related to ICTs. This includes providing training and support to individuals and organizations in the use of ICTs, as well as promoting the use of ICTs in education, healthcare, and other sectors.
Overall, the division plays an important role in promoting digital literacy and driving the adoption and use of ICTs in Rwanda. By equipping individuals and organizations with the skills and tools they need to harness the power of technology, the division is helping to create a more connected and empowered society.
