Digital Public Goods and Digital Public Infrastructures should ease citizens’ lives
Focusing on constant development of DPGs and DPIs was highlighted during a one-day workshop organized by RISA in collaboration with Africa Nenda at Carnegie Mellon University Africa on September 27, 2023.
This stakeholder engagement Workshop brought together a diverse group of participants from the public, private, and Non-Government Organizations and took place at Carnegie Mellon University with the purpose of exchanging valuable insights and foster synergies in the use and advancement of DPGs & DPIs infrastructures.
In his discussions, the Chief Executive Officer of RISA tackled the historic development of DPGs and DPIs’ infrastructures in Rwanda whereby the Government of Rwanda is continuously working to digitize services and create an enabling environment for digital payments and financial inclusion and among other sectors. The overarching goal of the Government of Rwanda is to create a seamless delivery of public services and to improve overall user experience for citizens.
