A cohort of senior public sector staff graduated from African Leadership University

More than 20 Public Sector Leaders from 4 countries across the African continent i.e. Rwanda, Kenya, Sierra Leone and Uganda celebrated the remarkable achievements after following a Public Sector Fellowship program for 12 months. This program which equips public sector leaders with best practices in understanding their users of public services and digital technology to accelerate execution in the African public sector.
The cohort was mainly composed by Chief Digital Officers from various sectors in Rwanda, Business analysts and Division Managers from Rwanda Information Society Authority and from other senior roles in public sector.
The purpose of the program is to empower selected African public sector leaders to leverage digital technology in developing citizen-centric services in their countries. The fellows have been through a transformative journey towards digital transformation and improved service delivery.
Speaking at the occasion, Hon. Twagirayezu congratulated all graduated fellows of the inaugural cohort and urged them to leverage digital technologies to enhance service delivery by using the knowledge and skills they have gained to serve citizens better.
